- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Scottish Daily Mail. DESCRIPTION: Lord Rothermere makes reference to the forthcoming Royal Commission of Enquiry when opening the new Daily Mail Scottish Edition. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV tape machine office. Tape over the wall. Shots of men setting up the print. Attaching same to rollers. MS & SCU Lord Rothermere speaking about the new newspaper, next to him is the Lord Provost and the latter’s daughter. Cut-in workmen listening, Lord Provost presses button. CU finger pressing button, workmen clanging bell and machinery starting in motion. Papers come off rollers, wads of paper loaded onto van and van driving off.
