- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Admiral Byrd’s Polar Food Supply. DESCRIPTION: Fifteen years ago Admiral Byrd’s South Pole Expedition built a storehouse in the ice. This store has just been re-opened and everything was found intact. SHOTLIST: KS Stars & Stripes flying over Little America. Exterior GV of storehouse. Dog drawn sledges make their way over snow. Explorer goes down cave. Interior - walking through the caves which they built 15 years ago to store food, shine torch on cases of food, brushes snow off same, lifts up one of the cases and carries it away. Pulling hard frozen hams off shelves, breaking ice off same with an axe. SCU axe hitting ham.
