- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Truman in Canada. DESCRIPTION: In the President’s address to the Canadian Parliament he spoke of the Truman Policy on aid to Europe. SHOTLIST: KS Truman and Mackenzie King leave hotel. Truman walks through streets towards Parliament, followed by Lord Alexander, all are in top hats and morning dress. Entering Parliament, members rise and applaud him as he enters. Truman walks to mikes and addresses house, speaking about his policy, also Aid to Europe. SCU of him speaking.
