- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Canadian Flood Waters. DESCRIPTION: The floodgates of the St Maurice River Dam had to be opened because of heavy rains and a late thaw. SHOTLIST: KS GV dam gates opened and water rushing through same. Various shots of rushing waters, released by opening dam gates. Shots of water (swirling) causing spray etc. River St Maurice is a 400 mile tributary of the St Lawrence River.
