MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: First Impress at Wimbledon (Tennis). DESCRIPTION: English veteran Don Butler played Yvon Petra, last year’s champion on the Centre Court. SHOTLIST: KS Establishing shot courts. Small queue outside and coming through gate. LS playboard outside Centre Court. Admirers buy photos of certain players. MS Yvon Petra (France) and Don Butler (GB) come onto Centre Court. GV their play. Petra and Butler serving. CU Petra returning shots forearm. GV play and Butler’s winning shot to make 5 all. Petra eventually won 7-5. MS Petra and Butler at end. Jaroslav Drobny (Czech) and Pancho Segura (Ecuador) onto court. CU Segura serving, stuffs second ball into his pocket. CU Drobny returning but ball goes into net, Drobny shows disgust in his gestures. GV play. Both got first time services over. Drobny plays smashing shot to win games. Cut-ins of crowds.
