MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Marino V Rinty Monaghan (Substitute Fight). DESCRIPTION: Rain fell on Hampden Park during the bout between Dado Marino from Honolulu and Rinty Monaghan of Belfast. SHOTLIST: KS GV Dado Marino and Rinty Monaghan fighting. Crowd shots, raining, people hold umbrellas up. Various shots of the fight, Monaghan knocks Marino down on his knee. Shots of them fighting, shows sawdust on canvas. Marino chasing Monaghan. Monaghan against the ropes. Monaghan keeps holding. Referee (Moss Deyong) speaks to (silent) Monaghan and gives the win to Marino. SCU Marino with cut eye. Marino and Monaghan with Hawaiian garlands round their necks.
