MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Brest Disaster. DESCRIPTION: The Ocean Liberty was loaded with a cargo of nitrate when she caught fire in Brest Harbour. Tremendous damage was done and twenty lives were lost in the tragedy. SHOTLIST: KS Stern view of wrecked ship. Shot of blown up SS Ocean Liberty. Various shots of ruined buildings, docks, gasholder, steel construction twisted etc. Casualties stand around talking (silent), heads bandaged, plastered etc. Fireman plays hose on smouldering ruins. Various shots of wrecked dock buildings, warehouses etc.
