MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: France Stage World Jamboree. DESCRIPTION: The 6th World Jamboree of Boy Scouts has taken place in France. SHOTLIST: KS Aerial of camping ground. Aerial of camping ground. Boy Scouts arrive by train, hiking along roads, some carry luggage, others tents, already for pitching. Scottish scouts doing a highland reel. Indian scouts performing a dance one plays a tom-tom. Various shots of all nations (over 50) flags flying and others being hoisted to masthead. Cut-in of scouts saluting same. Night material - Scouts march over hillock, various shots of the scouts marching round camping ground carrying flares. The whole of the place being lit by flares. Cut-in of General de Lattre de Tassigny watching same.
