MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Gliders to Houses. DESCRIPTION: Wartime gliders are being turned into summer houses, caravans or even temporary homes by a builder at Send in Surrey. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: GV fuselage of gliders. Several shots of gliders in field. MS glider with permanent partly built houses in background. Several shots of permanent partly built houses. Cut-in Mr Munns, saying a few words about the gliders. Interior of gliders shows men dismantling parts of same; gliders being sawn into parts. Various shots show workmen putting finishing touches to the Glider Summerhouse. Jimmy Sanger pushes one round, rotating on the spot. Interior - woman looks into cupboard inside glider.
