MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Truman Crosses the Line. DESCRIPTION: President Truman and his family watched the ‘Crossing the Line’ ceremony onboard USS Missouri. SHOTLIST: KS Shot from bridge, bows of ship as water breaks over them. Several shots of USS Missouri ploughing through heavy seas. Truman with his wife and daughter (Margaret Truman) on the bridge. GV of court of Neptune seated on deck. Various shots of people, crews getting duckings. Truman family are excused from ducking. Shots of men after ducking scrambling along deck, other members of the crew hitting them with sticks etc.
