MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Opening of Parliament. DESCRIPTION: For the first time Princess Elizabeth accompanies her parents at the State Opening of Parliament. The Princess drives in her own carriage on the procession to Westminster. SHOTLIST: KS GV Houses of Parliament. GV foggy Royal procession leaves Buckingham Palace swinging round Victoria Memorial. Elevated shot of procession passing from the Mall into Horse Guards Parade. Into camera shots of procession out of Horse Guards Parade turning into Whitehall. Procession approaches St Stephen’s Green. Cut-in of Guard of Honour at present arms. Royal procession (King and Queen in first carriage, followed by Princess Elizabeth in second carriage). Procession turns into House of Lords.
