MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Refugee Population Exchange. DESCRIPTION: As the population continues to move between India and Pakistan, Sikhs make the trip to Amritsar. American doctors have been inoculating them against cholera. SHOTLIST: KS Bullock carts trek along track in countryside. Various shots of bullock carts in convoy passing along tracks, fully laden with Sikhs’ belongings, also donkeys. Elevated shot passing over Ravi River. Shots of types of carts as they pass camera. American doctors injecting Sikhs against cholera, several shots grown-ups and children being injected. Dead Sikhs being placed in communal grave, body taken off stretcher. Various shots Sikhs on trek across country.
