- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Armistice Day. DESCRIPTION: The King was accompanied by Princess Elizabeth and Lieutenant Mountbatten as he led the nation’s mourning at the Cenotaph. SHOTLIST: KS Elevated GV choir walks out of Home Office to Cenotaph. Elevated shot King followed by Princess Elizabeth in ATS uniform, Lt Philip Mountbatten follows her. King in naval uniform takes his place in front of Cenotaph, also Princess and Lt Mountbatten. GV elevated of crowds around Cenotaph as Big Ben commences to strike the hour. Cut-ins King and Princess standing to attention, also types with heads bared. King lays wreath. CU Princess lays wreath. Elevated GV of singing O God our Help in Ages Past. GV on Home Office balcony - Queen Mary, Duchess of Kent, Princess Marie Louise, Queen and Princess Margaret. CU Princess Elizabeth & King. Elevated shot as Reveille is sounded. CU date inscription on Cenotaph. Ex-servicemen march past Cenotaph to the tune of It’s A Long Way to Tipperary, also There’ll Always be an England. LIBRARY - At eleven o’clock there is a cut-in of Big Ben - MS At eleven o’clock.
