MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: At the Circus - Bertram Mills. DESCRIPTION: The thrill of the Christmas-time circus at London’s Olympia. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV arena and child audience. General parade. Dogs and monkey performing. Acrobatic act. Trapeze artists performing. Cut-ins of audience and types of children watching rehearsal. Elephants file into arena. Performing ballet dance, several shots. One elephant placing his foot on trainer’s face. Elephants file off. Clowns performing, standing on hind legs etc. Clowns performing crazy act with car, loading luggage on. Car drives off, falls to pieces as it is driven off arena. Preceded by clowns pouring water over one another and down one another’s trousers.
