MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Maharaja of Jaipur Silver Jubilee Celebrations. DESCRIPTION: Scenes of great splendour were witnessed on the occasion of the Maharaja of Jaipur’s Silver Jubilee. SHOTLIST: KS MS elephants dressed in full regalia. Several shots of the elephants in courtyard. Shots of procession through courtyards, Maharaja being fanned as he walks along. Shots of procession, shows Lord and Lady Mountbatten in same. Several shots of princes seated during Durbar. Lord Louis invests Maharaja with Star of India. Several group shots posed specially for camera. Procession leaving Durbar Hall, towards camera, one of the Princes stumbles over the red carpet nearly falling over. Procession walks through crowds of cheering people.
