MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monty Presents Belt of Honour to His Son. DESCRIPTION: At the Royal Armoured Corps Passing Out Parade, Officer Cadet David Montgomery received the belt of honour from his famous father. SHOTLIST: KS SCU soldiers (a marker). GV of parade marching past in sound. MS panning of Officer Cadet David Bernard Montgomery marching towards his father. Field Marshal Montgomery places belt on his son - SCU & MS. SV son and father salute, the former turns about and marches off. Back view of Monty standing before parade of Royal Armoured Corps. SV CU Monty addresses troops, says he wasn’t embarrassed by presenting his son with belt etc. etc. Various shots of marchpast, troops semi towards camera. Various shots of slow march. All in natural sound. Pan of his son slow marching past his father, both saluting.
