MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: French Floods Worst for 50 Years. DESCRIPTION: There has been widespread flooding in Eastern France, the worst hit areas being in Alsace Lorraine and the Saar. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Aerial flooded area. Several aerials of flooded countryside. Ground shots of water pouring past trees, buildings etc. Various shots of flooded areas and streets. Boats being rowed through streets of Nancy and Metz. Army amphibians through streets, distributing food. People carried through streets on men’s backs. Frenchman picks up dog, carries child on his back. Another carrying old woman who is holding two dead chickens.
