MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Elizabeth’s Food Parcels Despatched By Wvs. DESCRIPTION: The WVS have been busy at Buckingham Palace packing food parcels which are being distributed to war widows with young children and pensioners. The food was given to Princess Elizabeth as wedding presents and Her Royal Highness went along to see the operation. SHOTLIST: KS Pan (interior) of WVS packing parcels. Pans of tins of food on shelves. MS Princess Elizabeth enters, walking around watching packing and labelling etc. of parcels. Princess places letter in one of the parcels.
