MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Gandhi’s Fast Ends. DESCRIPTION: The required pledges having been given to bring about Hindu-Muslim peace, Gandhi broke his fast after 122 hours. SHOTLIST: KS Crowd shot. Several crowd shots assembled in a square. SCU Maulana Azad (Minister of Education) addressing (silent) crowds. In grounds of home where Gandhi lives, people pass open French windows, inside can be seen Gandhi lying on a bed, several shots of him and people passing.
