MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Supersonic Car on Rails. DESCRIPTION: In California they are testing a supersonic rocket car which runs on rails. SHOTLIST: KS MS of supersonic car. Engineer places component part of car, the ‘Shoe’ through which runs over rail. MS car starting shoots forward, smoke ejecting from rear. LS car at speed. CU stationary. CU component parts. MS & LS car at speed. Cut-ins (camera attached to car) shows car speeding over rail. LS rockets being fired (retarding) and being stopped, smoke completely covers car.
