MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Gennissiat Dam. DESCRIPTION: A dam across the river Rhone has been built at Genissiat and the planned turbo-electric plant will be the largest in Europe. SHOTLIST: KS Aerial of dam (several). Various elevated shots of dam. Various shots of the dam and lake. Mr Lacoste, Minister of Industrial Production, presses button. Various shots of water over fall into lake. Lacoste inspects same. Several shots of water rushing along narrow trenches (15 foot wide), artificially cut. Several shots of turbines, alternators etc. Aerial shot of huge dam.
