- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Spills and Skating End Winter Olympics. DESCRIPTION: At St Moritz there were many spills in the Downhill Ski racing. In the Figure Skating Barbara Ann Scott of Canada carried off the Ladies Title. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV of snow capped St Moritz. Elevated shots skiers in the ‘downhill’ race. Several skiers falling during the race, skis flying. SCU one skier having both his legs in splints, after breaking same. Several shots Barbara Ann Scott skating in Ladies Free Style Skating Competition. Various shots, include SCU of her pirouetting etc. Several shots of closing ceremony (in heavy snow), competitors walk onto skating arena, with their respective countries’ flags. Parade before crowd. Cut-ins torch still burning. Flags paraded in ice rink. Cut-ins crowds.
