- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Howe Island. DESCRIPTION: Lord Howe Island in the South Pacific has only 160 inhabitants, therefore a wedding is big local news. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Elevated rugged rocks off coast of island. Elevated pan of island. MS palm trees, tilt up to radio mast in background. Seaplane taxies across lagoon of island. Taxies to standstill. Parson alights from plane onto tender. Elevated shot house in its grounds. Owner’s wife picks flowers from garden. Man digging in vegetable garden. MS oldest inhabitants walk out of house into garden. SCU oldest inhabitants talking (silent). Bride and groom, preceded by parson leave church, small crowd throw confetti on them. Couple drive off on motor truck, only vehicle on island. Out of camera shot of same.
