MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: RAF Celebrate 30th Birthday With Meteor Iv’s. DESCRIPTION: The 30th birthday of the Royal Air Force was marked at Horsham St Faith by a display of Meteors. SHOTLIST: KS MS cockpit and engine of jet Meteor IV. Line of Meteor IV’s on aerodrome. SLIP PAN - War Office material - Several shots of old types of plane on aerodrome and in flight, include Sopwith Camel, SE5, Bristol Fighter and Handley Page. SLIP PAN Line of Meteor IV’s on aerodrome. Meteors along tarmac, one behind the other into camera, taxiing. MS two taking off and panning. CU one in flight. Line of Meteors on aerodrome.
