Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Incidents at Last Day of Test Match. DESCRIPTION: Denis Compton had an unfortunate ending to his test innings when he over balanced and fell over his own wicket. The other incident was that of Bradman’s dismissal for a duck. SHOTLIST: KS MS crowds fore with pavilion in background. LS play. GV crowds. SCU Keith Miller bowling. Denis Compton attempts to hit ball & falls over wicket, knocking off bails. Repeat shot in slow motion. Compton walks off (x3). GV Alec Bedser bowls to Don Bradman, Hutton catches Bradman who is out for a duck. Bradman walks off. LS pitch play continues.
