- Summary
- Native children with camels. A typical oasis town - part played by it in Free French activities in the Libyan desert. From here, long range patrols set off into desert for surprise attacks on enemy forts. The Free French cavalry. Modern AA weapons on call for enemy air attack. At headquarters a raid on enemy territory is planned and orders are given. Armoured vehicles drive off across the desert. Heat conditions and water shortage - Free French men drink from muddy pools. When they can go no further, positions are taken up. Attack opens successfully. Shots of prisoners taken.
