Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Carnival Time. DESCRIPTION: In Rome and on the Riviera, pageants and carnivals are in full swing. Rome holds a chariot race, the first for 2,000 years. SHOTLIST: KS MENTONE - Elevated GV Mentone town street. Lemons being placed in streets, making various patterns & being paraded through the streets. NICE - Elevated GV Nice seafront. Flowers being paraded through the streets, girls throw them at crowds. Cut-ins of types of girls in parade. Throwing flowers around. ROME - Several motor cyclists in armour seated on Corgi motor cycles. Several angle shots of chariot (horse drawn) race in progress, in & out of camera, cut-in audience cheering.
