MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen Mary Visits Ideal Home. DESCRIPTION: Queen Mary was received by Lord Rothermere when she visited the Ideal Home Exhibition. Amongst the exhibits were British Nylon clothing, water heaters, gas cookers and a working model of a steel factory. SHOTLIST: KS Elevated GV Grand Hall, Queen Mary enters escorted by Lord Rothermere. Into camera - Queen Mary, Lord Rothermere & Mr Truefitt. Elevated GV houses. Queen Mary looks around. MS cut glass stand. MS clothes brushes etc. Handbag stand. British Nylon stand displaying clothes & lingerie. Hot water from gas heater. Several shots of gas ovens. MS table laid for dinner. GV model steel works in action, cranes etc. working.
