Summary
Seventy three target ships anchored off Bikini Lagoon, prepare for "Operation Crossroads" under the command of Admiral Blandy. Animals, to be used in experiments to determine the effects of the bomb upon life, are brought aboard. The crews and captain leave the ships and the Bikini Fleet is ready for the blast. The dropping and explosion of the world’s fourth atomic bomb - mushroom cloud.
