MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Epsom Spring Meeting. DESCRIPTION: A large crowd for the Spring Meeting saw ‘Yoyo’ win the Great Metropolitan Handicap. Gordon Richards won The City and Suburban on ‘Impeccable’. SHOTLIST: KS GV Epsom stands. GV crowds at meeting. MS ditto. MS paddocks & horses parading, for Great Metropolitan Handicap, SCU Yoyo passing camera. Elevated GV grandstands. Various pans of race & mixes. Horses round Tattenham Corner & out of camera up straight. Yoyo takes the lead & goes on to win. CITY & SUBURBAN RACE - CU names of horses on bookies stall. SCU starter pushing down lever to release gate. Cut to actual start of race. Pan of horses racing past & out of camera. Rounding Tattenham Corner, out of camera. Elevated GV as Impeccable leading goes on to win, passing winning post. Gordon Richards rides winner.
