MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London Sees Army. DESCRIPTION: The largest column of troops to march through London since the victory celebrations. At Ludgate Hill, women of the Communist Party tried to break up the procession by running between the ranks of troops. SHOTLIST: KS. Troops marching. Trucking shot troops along Mall. Cut-in Queen & Princess Elizabeth looking from window of Buckingham Palace. Troops pass through Admiralty Arch. Mayor of Westminster at base of King Charles statue, raises hat. Trucking shot troops out of camera. Ludgate Hill, Women Communists demonstrate try to break up procession. St Paul’s Churchyard, Mayor of London with General Sir Evelyn Barker & Mr Shinwell at saluting base. Cut-in Paul Wyand on truck shooting. Marching troops, cut-in dog looking on. Mayor of Holborn takes salute. Girls stand outside first floor windows as procession passes along Oxford Street. GV as troops turn out of Oxford Street into Park Lane.
