- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Galway Bay Air Crash. DESCRIPTION: A Grimsby trawler the Stalberg, picked up the survivors of the Skymaster which crashed into the sea off Galway. Survivors were treated in hospital and given new clothing. Later the vessel ‘Lanahrone’ arrives with the dead, eight of them in all having lost their lives. SHOTLIST: Grimsby trawler "Stalberg" at quay, survivors from crashed Skymaster come ashore. Interior - hospital survivors in bed some badly injured. Crowds on quay as second trawler "Lanahrone" brings more survivors (victims) being brought ashore.
