MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Implacable Nears Her End. DESCRIPTION: The 148 year old Implacable is to be sunk in the Channel, it was launched by the French in 1801 and fought against us at Trafalgar. SHOTLIST: KS. SCU figurehead of bows of galleon. Various shots, all angles of the "Implacable" & panning to the "Victory" fully dressed as a comparison. MS & CU figurehead sawn off & swung ashore on ropes. MS "Kenya" cruiser seen in background of "Implacable".
