- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen Visits Own RAF Squadron. DESCRIPTION: The Queen recently inspected Number 600 (City of London) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, it was her first visit as Honorary Air Commodore. It was at Biggin Hill, Kent, and she received a bouquet from 6 year old Wendy Thompson, daughter of one of the Squadron’s NCO’s. SHOTLIST: KS. Queen Standard. Queen arrives by car. Child presents bouquet to Queen. Queen inspects RAF pilots & crews. Queen addresses parade. Parade give three cheers. Pilots climb into Spitfires, which take off, fly in formation over field, dipping in salute.
