- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: South African Train Takes Tragic Plunge. DESCRIPTION: Pictures of the recent train smash in South Africa show clearly why the casualty list was so great. Seven coaches crashed seventy feet from the bridge crossing the Elands River near Waterval Boven in the Eastern Transvaal. SHOTLIST: KS Tilt down viaduct to wreckage at base. Various angles shots, pans etc. of wrecked train lying at bottom of viaduct after having plunged over the side of the bridge spanning the viaduct. Rescue workers search among the debris & ruins.
