- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cardiff Christmas Celebrations - the Christmas Tree. DESCRIPTION: Children lined the streets of Cardiff to see Father Christmas and the tree being erected outside the City Hall. SHOTLIST: KS. Crowds. Crowds of children line streets, Father Christmas drives through in specially prepared coach. Children screaming their ‘heads off’. Father Christmas greeted by Lord Mayor, Alderman Timothy Kerritan. Christmas tree erected in Cathays Park outside City Hall. Denmark representative presented the tree to Cardiff. Children sing carols to finish.
