MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Us Head-On Train Crash. DESCRIPTION: At Rockville Centre, Long Island - the worst railway disaster ever to occur in New York State. The scene, filmed a few minutes after the electric trains had collided in a head-on smash, shows the rescue of victims, and feverish attempts to save others. SHOTLIST: KS. MS victims lifted out on stretchers from wrecked carriages. Various shots of train completely wrecked, torn in halves. Rescue work in progress, victims lifted out on stretchers.
