Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Belgium’s Gigantic Dam Completed. DESCRIPTION: At Eupen (near Liege) the dam on the river Vesdre has been inaugurated by Belgium’s Minister for Public Works. Work on this large and important project was begun as long ago as 1935. SHOTLIST: KS. GV bridge spanning across dam. Minister of Works, M Buisserat cuts tape across bridge. Various shots of the dam before the water starts running over. Cut-ins of water rushing over & CU of same. Elevated GV of tumbling waters.
