Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Flat - Lincolnshire Handicap. DESCRIPTION: The opening race of the Flat season was won by Dramatic with Fair Judgement second and Paljoy third. SHOTLIST: KS. SCU winning post (shot from drawing). GV of course - crowded. GV of paddock. Horses parading in ring. SCU of them passing camera. SCU jockeys mounting including Gordon Richards. GV leading up to start. The start & horses towards camera-semi. Trucking shot of the horses racing (MS & SCU) "Tsao" leads most of the way, when suddenly "Dramatic" (No 3) overtakes "Tsao" (No 33) & goes on to win, excellent trucking shot. "Dramatic" past winning post. Lead in & unsaddling. "Fair Judgement" came second with "Paljoy" third. ("Dramatic" ridden by Gordon Richards).
