Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Goering’s Treasures Discovered. DESCRIPTION: At Castle Valdenstein in the American zone of Germany, a special investigation recently discovered some buried treasure. It was once in the unlawful possession of the late, un-lamented Hermann Goering. SHOTLIST: KS. Elevated GV men digging in ground. Elevated GV of the above castle. Various shots of Germans digging supervised by American troops, unearthing box, same lifted out. Mix to Munich where dozens of articles are displayed from the discovered treasures, mostly candlesticks. Preceded by lorry leaving the castle grounds.
