MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fanatical Sect Stage Odd Protests. DESCRIPTION: It’s a crazy world, but some of the craziest people in it are Russian-descended Doukhobors of British Columbia. They burn down their homes and in addition to arson, they often un-dress in public. All this in protest against the third world war which they say mankind is heading for. SHOTLIST: KS. GV small crowd outside log hut (Doukhobors). Small crowds set light to their homes (huts). Their preacher pleads to them; on table is bread & salt - scared emblem. Shots of huts burning. Doukhorors undressing, men only.
