MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News From Canada. DESCRIPTION: One of the worst fires in Canadian history has wrought havoc in the town of Rimouski, Quebec. The damage is put at over two million dollars. In the Red River district, including the City of Winnipeg, the worst flood for a hundred years caused damage so great that it cannot be calculated. SHOTLIST: KS. Aerial of fire blazing. Damaged buildings, hospitals, convents, churches, etc. Various shots of the damage. . AT WINNIPEG - shots of flooded streets, banks overflowing. Indicated showing depth to which water had risen.
