DESCRIPTION: With petrol off rations roads out of London were crowded (as in the case of other centres), Brighton was one obvious destination for the motorist. SHOTLIST: Speech referring to the freeing petrol by Mr Gaitskell. Various shots of roads from London to Brighton, crowded with cars. Various shots of Brighton front, weather not very good. Walking along esplanade, looking through telescopes out to sea. Cars drive home, lines of them. Car taking petrol.
