Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rain Mars Model Plane Rally. DESCRIPTION: Model aircraft get bigger and better all the time, if one may judge by the rally recently held (in very rough weather) at Radlett. Present at the meeting was Group Captain Cunningham, the distinguished wartime ace. SHOTLIST: KS. MS models of planes. Group Captain Cunningham inspects model "Vampire", various shots. "Vampire" taxies & takes off, shots of it in circular flight, controlled by maker. Shots of crowds trying to shelter from pouring rain in centre of fields.
