- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Guided V2. DESCRIPTION: What is believed to be the first successful horizontal flight by a long-range guided missile took place at the new proving grounds in Florida, where they’ve been experimenting with a German V-2, which carries a smaller missile on its nose. SHOTLIST: KS. MS V-2 with smaller missile attached to the nose of V-2. Various shots of the V-2 before take-off & being fired. Cut-ins of officials moving instruments to release the V-2. V-2 taking the sky vertically & then flatten out into a horizontal position. This is believed to be the first guided missile to fly horizontal.
