Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Singapore Sabotage. DESCRIPTION: Millions of dollars’ worth of rubber goes up in smoke from the Aik Hoe factory on Singapore Island. The police had discovered a Communist master plan for local sabotage and twice attempts to fire the factory had been prevented. SHOTLIST: KS. GV countryside fore, with palls of smoke rising in background. SCU & CU of palls of smoke rising from rubber store, at Aik Hoe. Various shots of firemen fighting the raging flames & smoke. Natives look on. Next day scene, shows damage, place completely burnt out.
