Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke of Edinburgh at Lowestoft. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club’s regatta was a gala occasion this year, for in addition to the Dragon class racing for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Cup, the Duke himself presented the prizes. SHOTLIST: KS. GV Lowestoft Harbour. Various shots of the Dragon Class yachts racing off Lowestoft. Duke’s "Bluebottle" No 192 passes camera. At the Club, Duke introduced, then presents his Cup to the winner & finishes by saying "Sorry I couldn’t have been here myself to trail along behind".
