Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen’s Farewell to the Land Army. DESCRIPTION: The final parade at Buckingham Palace by members of the Women’s Land Army was inspected by the Queen, accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture. SHOTLIST: KS. WLA marching though archway in grounds. Ditto. Queen with Tom Williams mount dais. Talks with WLA girls, which is preceded by presentation of Long Service medals. Basket of fruit etc. on dais which had been presented to the Queen.
