DESCRIPTION: In Trafalgar Square a service, held to mark United Nations Day, was attended by members of the Armed Forces, the Cadet Forces and Youth organisations. SHOTLIST: KS. GV crowds in Square, with National Gallery in background. Various shots of types (groups) of various services, including RAF, Navy, Army, WAAFs, WRNS? etc. Foreigners at services. Attlee walks to flag mast. Makes a speech about the flag. Pulls cord & unfurls United Nations flag. SCU of flag flying.
