MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Elizabeth As Engine Driver. DESCRIPTION: Swindon, celebrating the jubilee of the Borough, gave a royal welcome to Princess Elizabeth. A visit to the Railway Works was one item on an extensive programme. SHOTLIST: KS. Trucking shot through crowded street. CU sign "Welcome to Swindon". Royal car in procession through crowded streets, entering Swindon Works. Railways workers standing & doff caps. CU types. Interior molten metal pouring from container.
